My dog has had a fever and has been lethargic for three days.He has been drinking, eating, urinating, and had bowels normally though.

Anyone have a clue what could be wrong with him?He is a 4 mo. old Blue Heeler. He has been a bit more active today.Think it may be a cold idk.

I'd take him to a vet. When my dog gets a fever I wrap a wet towel around her. It lowers the temp pretty quick. The flu is going around, has anyone in your house been sick? I have the flu now and so does my dog:(. But I would call a vet ASAP

Take him to the vet. A fever for three days is not good.

Has he had all of the shots he should have had?
If not, i would just take him to the vet, for a little check up.
The vet will probably give him what he needs, if he needs it then.
Also, if you have any plants that are not good for dogs that he could have gotten into, remove them from that place and put them in a safer place.

I hope your puppy feels better! <3

Just as a point of caution.

If your dog is running a fever NEVER EVER give him/her aspirin. It can thin a dogs blood out too much and kill them. Always consult a vet before trying ANY kind of treatment.
