how come people think lebron james is the best player in NBA history when he can never be jordan,chamberlain,russell,pippen,kobe and d'rose?

Because they weren't alive when some of the greatest players played. It's just the generation, go into a grade school & ask kids opinions on Orson Wells acting or writing ability- fantastic, one of the greatest ever. No you'll hear crickets. I grew up in Philly, where's Dr. J in that list. Ask folks what they thought of Joe Lewis or Sugar Ray Robinson, Robinson had something like 175 wins, can you imagine that many fights. You like what you know

think about it, they're all different types of players. Lebron is better than Kobe in the scoring aspect, but Kobe's the better defender

I don't think he's the best ever, it's mostly bandwagon fans that say that. And why did you put derrick rose with those guys? I like him, but isn't a bit premature to call him a legend?

Attitude wise, I love the way derrick rose handles himself. I always hated lebron's attitude and demeanor. Talking basketball skills, I think lebron is better and it really hurts me to say that since I don't like him and derrick rose is my favorite player outside of anyone from the houston rockets.

You cant compare a sf to a center or a sg to a pg. He is better than some players at scoring and being an all around player. Look at his stats from the last 5 years.
