Why are the numbers in braile on the tv remote (the blind peoples way of reading)

Think of it why do blind people need a tv remote

Just because they may not be able to see the images, doesn't mean that they won't appreciate being able to listen to the programs.

Have you ever noticed the sticker on the drive thru window at mcdonalds, it says " brail and picture menus available" . How's a blind person gonna see it? How's an illiterate person gonna read it

The blind person won't see it, but the person driving the car will, and can ask for the menu if they happen to have a passenger in the car who needs it.

In many cases an illiterate person won't be driving either (unless they are driving illegally), as they sort of need to be at least somewhat literate to pass the written part of their driving test.

My best friend was blind and he still enjoyed listening to tv. The one I don't understand are the Braille on drive up ATM. Guess in case they're in backseat only thing I come up with.

The keypads on the ATMs are standard no matter if it's a drive-thru or walk-up, so it's kind of silly to assume that the blind person would be driving. It's there so that when someone else drives them to the ATM, they can still take care of their own transactions, without needed extra assistance.
