How did the book "A Tale of Two Cities" by Charles Dickens affect you?

I read the book and I thought it was pretty boring. It didn't really have an affect on me. Im asking this questions because I would like to see what others thought of the book.

I read it in 8th grade and it really made me think!! It made me cringe at times because of all the violence!! For a few weeks it was all I could think of, actually! I agree, it was kind of boring the first half but the second half was exciting to me.

I didn't read the book, but I liked a movie. It had the Borg queen in it.

The book was BORING!!! But my mom liked it. She read it in collage.
