Saw someone talking about this on here, just wondering what it is.

A lucid dream is one in which one is aware that they are dreaming. In lucid dreaming, if you become good at it, you can direct the path that your dreams take.

It is dreaming where you can actually control the events of the dream.

Lucid dreaming is being aware that you are dreaming.

That means that if you lucid dream, you can control the outcome of your dreams and do things while you are sleeping that you can't do in the real world (such as fly).
