Okay! Last evening, my hubby & I were lying on the sofas napping with the TV on! My 60" TV that I waited a long time to get! It's

3 years old & has been great! All of a sudden I hear what sounds like a firecracker, a little blue fire shoots out the back of my TV and that's it! Time of death 6:43 pm! What in the world caused that to happen? Any ideas? I'm at a loss! Thanks

It could have been an electrical surge (do you have it plugged into a surge protector?) or a flaw in the set. Go online and look up the make, model and see if other's have had this problem. Write a complaint to the U.S Consumer Product Safety Commission. They have some TV recalls for fire hazards.

We have a surge protector & it didn't affect anything else! That's what's weird! We learned to buy surge protectors a long time ago! Thanks!

sounds like a power surge check some of your other appliances.
