help! how do I get rid of a beehive?

ok I noticed a beehive growing on the side of me house and I want to get rid of it before it gets any bigger I did want to knock it down with a stick but thought the bees would get mad aha any tips!?

If it's actual bees (rather than like wasps or yellow jackets)... don't kill them!! See if you can find a beekeeper in your area, they would be more than happy to come take the hive off your hands. You can find contact information through the following...

Get that spray stuff! It will kill the bees than you can deposit the beehive

Do what Sephira suggests. Do not kill them! The bee population has already been greatly depleted and we absolutely need them to pollinate crops.

OR you can get alcohol and spray it, works for me everytime.

I called a bee keeper to take away a swarm that collected on a tree in my front yard. For one thing they won't bother you at all in the mean time.
Keeper arrives with a big box and a smoker device and in a few minutes he will be on his way with his prize.
As has been pointed out, people say bees to cover all flying buzzing insects some of which are actually wasps. You may want to check 1st with somebody locally who is S U R E these are bees N O T wasps. That's important!!!! Don't kill bees !
