What do you think of this name?

I'm currently writing a story and I have this one character that's named Terra Vega. Her middle name is Amerie (like A-marie) I've been very confident about her name for awhile, but I'm starting to feel a bit insecure. What do you think of it? Is it good, bad, or just terrible? And if you think it's terrible, please be my guest and come up with a better one..

(F.Y.I I'm well aware it's sounds a lot like Tori Vega from the Nick TV show, but the Vega last name did not come from the show. I came up with it out of the blue with no knowledge of it being another character's name.)

Just make sure the name fits the story. It sounds like a name of a fantasy book character, or a science fiction/futuristic character. If that is the kind of story you are writing, then I think that name should be fine.

However, if you are writing a story about a regular teenager in high school, then this is not a good name - it would be too unrealistic. Do you know what I mean?

It sounds really nice, but the very first thing I thought of when I read the name was Tori Vega from the nick show ): I think its just a bit to similar. I'd give it a more unique name that won't get readers side tracked thinking about something else, but other then that, I like it! I think you should keep the middle name too, I've never seen it before lol

I like it :) but honestly I just thought of the nick show! I think that they're a bit too similar. And when that happens, people start to associate the nick character with your character. So I think that if you want your character to stand out and have a strong name, you should give her a boy's name, like Braxton. She'll stand out for sure :)

I like Terra Vega, I don't think Amerie flows well tho'. With tha "a" at the end of Terra and the "A" at the beginning of Amerie leads to a double "a". It just doesn't roll off the tongue.

I don't know the type of person you character is but you chose two earthy names for her. Terra is another name for Earth and Vega means meadow dweller.

How about Terra Iliza - capital ("I") Montoya- Earthy, but strong, confident, alluring.
