Why is that if lying is so wrong everyone does it?

You know that the government lies, the high end people the "Important" people they all lie. yet it is taught that lying is bad it's sort of hard to follow that when it surrounds you.

I wasn't asking whether or not to lie, that's my choice. I was just curious. :P

Because it only takes 1 conformed lie to loose credibility in someone else's eyes

Because most humans do not care about anything other than their own greedy selves, if lying gains them in any way their greed takes over and stops them from doing whats right.

I us to lie but in the end no one wanted to listen to my lies it was only when I told the truth that people start to take you serious , but some things probably don't need to be lied about but just don't talk about these things but don't ever lie about them
