How much would you pay?

I have a beautiful 9yr old, purebred Quarter Horse mare and a cute little 3yr old Miniature Horse (pony) gelding that I want to sell. They both have papers to prove their purebred and they come as a package deal because they have been together since the pony was born and are inseparable. But I wanna know how much they are worth together and sell them. So, how much would you pay?

I couldn't give you a truthful answer. But a great suggestion. Call your local 4H group near you and ask them. I think they'll give you a good answer. I'm glad you're not splitting them up:)

Thanks for the suggestion :) And I couldn't split them up. They go crazy without eachother and I don't want to separate them after they've been together for so long, it wouldn't be right.

You're welcome:). I totally understand. I just had a cat that had 2 kittens, no way can I split them up. When they're hiding the momma cries for them. At least you're a responsible pet owner. I'll give you that. I'm a huge animal lover

Need more information. What kind of bloodlines? Are they broke to ride/ drive? What kind of riding, show, trail? Up to date in vaccinations and farrier? Good solid condition or underweight? Child safe or flighty?

I don't exactly know their bloodlines, but the mare is broke to ride but she needs to be worked with a bit because she hasn't been riden in a while and won't accept it anymore. I wasn't able to ride her with what was going on at the time. The pony though isn't a riding pony, he's more of just a pasture pet. He's got an attitude but he's pretty good around children. The mare doesn't do showing but she could be a great trail horse. She gets routine visits from a farrier and she is in great weight conditions, maybe a just a tiny bit over weight since no one has been riding her, but she's in a healthy state. And she is very good around children. She isn't skiddish or flighty and she'll let me walk directly behind her(even though it's not a good idea, lol), or will let me walk under her neck when she's eating hay. She is good when being groomed and will stand there perfectly for you when not tied in the stall and let's you pick up her feet easily. She's got a laid back, calm, and kind disposition.

Depending on your area of the country you aren't really looking at much. The mare sounds like a nice average mare and the mini sounds like he could have a tude ( generally true of most of them). Package deal actually hurts you because someone who might want one may not want both. Check prices in your area but you are probably looking at $1000 or less.
