My friend want to use my basement to summon a demon from hell, should I let him?

he says it's the only place that he could do it in and he won't talk to me if I don't let him.

Report as

I don't see the problem if you are not talking to someone who wants to summon a demon from hell. To me it is a win/win by telling him no.

But he's been my best friend for years!

If he is truly your friend he would not want to summon a demon in your house. Why does he want to do that anyway?
Report as
What a great friend, not even an enemy should wish this on you. YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU ARE TOYING WITH!!!, Or you would not be asking the question.

Report as
Ur ridiculous....you summons your mom to tuck you in bed.....and btw, you can't befriend a demon- you don't need to speak out loud for them to come to you- they work off energy! Been there and done that.....I promise it's cool until they answer on a ouija bored what your thinking before u say it out loud.....then your call in for ur mommy to sleep in her bed...be careful what u play with in the energy world....
Report as
Playing with demons is dangerous and foolish. They are decievers and tormentors. they can drive people to kill or even completely take over your body. You can't tame them. They tame you. Also they have no access to hell and will usually go after those who summon them. Don't do it!

True that. My childhood was composed of hunting, riding bikes, nintendo 64, and other various activities. Demon summoning I left to the crazy wiccans a couple miles up the road.

Real friends won't blackmail you by withholding friendship. Call his bluff... and if it isn't a bluff, sorry, but he wasn't really your friend in the first place.

Thats a real stupid thing to because he's putting you, himself and anybody you live with in danger. What ever he does summon would be pure evil and could possess your house and bad things would happen. Don't let him!

No. Besides being ridiculous giving you an ultimatum like that, he really sounds like bad news. Evil spirits are not something you want to call into your home. There are evil spirits, it's not a game. I would steer clear of him and the situation.

This is a dangerous thing. It is real and demons are real. I'm sorry that you have been put in this situation of having to tell him no. But, I do hope you tell him no and stick with it. I would stick with the no even if it meant that he actually won't talk to you anymorel. If you say no and your friend changes his mind, you will even be doing him a favor. This is no good and leads to no good results. I can't caution you strongly enough. I personally know of people who got into this mess and I'm speaking the truth. It is no good!!! Please do not do it!

Ya know what smattymatty. I think you recognized this very sincere answer and you're young and young people like to have attention. That desire in itself isn't bad, it is natural. But you would benefit moreso by doing good things for yourself and having good accomplishments in your life and getting attention that way. You have a right to choose. It will be one of the dumbest things you could choose. That's Not an aopinion. I won't bother you with the whole story since you have your own desires and you think this is a good choice, but I will mention a bit of one true story. Two boys, lived in same town as I live in. One boy, precious kid, loved people alot. Other boy got involved with Satanic stuff, thought it was cool I guess. Now, One boy left alive, other one dead. One boy went to prison. It's been some years back, but I think they were 13 yrs. old. True story. Your choice.

K- Doll, I'm here to say that when I was younger, I'm 38 now, I use to dabble in ouija boards, cards, black magic alllll kinds of stuff- it's there, it exists and once you witness it, it will get in your head so bad you will be tripping...I couldn't close my eyes in the shower when rinsing shampoo and washing my face- I got rid of those "friends" after going thru a lot of scary stuff, got with God & now, Jesus is my homey ;) Don't do it! Negative demonic energy is sitting there bored & waiting to come f**k with you....it would love to get into your basement...and rent space in your head...tell that wanna be satanist to get bent, roll out & not even discuss that with you- You are better than that! Peace

No. Even as a joke such activities are probably not healthy. The power of belief can be a pretty dangerous thing. You should really not play with your psychological health like that. Some reading this response might say or think: "Oh come off it!". Whatever. You have been warned. The friend is already messing with your head by saying he won't talk to you if you don't let him. If he says: "Are you chicken or a pussy?" Then just say yeah, if he continues bullying you or making your life miserable, guess what? You already GOT a demon on your hands---HIM. I'm no wizard, but I know demons feed on hubris.

Just a note to anyone considering dabbling in the occult: There is a reason why this stuff is considered "hidden". Think of this stuff like guns and ammo locked away somewhere. You play with this stuff, especially for amusement, and there is a good chance you are going to get hurt---Bad. The only human I know of who played with this sort of fire and managed to come out RELATIVELY unscathed is Aleister Crowley. (Note my emphasis on the word "relatively". Some associated with him were not so lucky, and even Mr Crowley himself I believe paid a price for whatever "knowledge" he might have acquired. For good? or Ill, Mr Crowley spent many years and probably went through many trials that the average person may not be able to withstand. Not that I'm an expert on Mr. Crowley, but I believe I know enough about him to know that he probably trained PHYSICALLY as well as MENTALLY. for what he embarked on. "Do what thou wilt" at your OWN RISK!!!

There is no evidence whatsoever for the supernatural - except stories told by superstitious humans. But if you really must summon mythical entities - why not summon Zeus or Osiris or Rodney Dangerfield while you're at it?

I like your answers, but yes, I'll admit to being somewhat superstitious. I will say that even a totally atheistic psychiatrist might say to either of these young men that what the one young man is suggesting is probably not a good idea.
Report as
Jeb: Agreed: of course it's not a good idea - the delusion of superstition can result in serious trauma.

Simply from the perspective of him saying that he wouldn't talk to you anymore if you didn't let him is a no go from me. Emotional blackmail should never be used in friendships. He may be your best friend... but he's sure not acting like one. Put the whole demon thing aside... do you want to be friends with someone who tries to strongarm you and then threaten to dissolve a friendship over it?

Absolutely Not!!!! No!! Read Revelation 12:9 - Satan is real and he is roaring about misleading all. Don't do it - it does not matter if your friend do not speak to you again - what that makes him is a "conditional friend," - Do you really need that kind of friend?
