Why do they call it after dark when its really after lite lol?
It used to be phrased, "after dark falls" - which actually makes more sense, except, of course, "dark" doesn't exactly, "fall". ;-)
Maybe bacause between light and dark there is dusk, so dark is not after light. After light would be dusk.
They use after dark because of the context. In description it should be after light but in the specific time they should use after dark. The term can be used according to the context and what they mean.
