1. Try to get scared/scare the person who has hiccups. It also might not be a human, so you can try to scare animals too. 2. Drink a glass of water. This sometimes works. But it never is 100%. I have gotten rid of hiccups by mostly drinking water. It is currently one of the best known ways to get rid of hiccups. 3. Hold your breath. Now, some people might find that this doesn't work, but this does work occasionally. I have tried it, and it's second best compared to drinking water. If drinking water doesn't work, this method immediately comes after it. 4. Lemon juice. I highly suggest this method if the drinking nor the holding of the breath works. Its sourness is one you cannot forget. Make sure to swallow only a little, because if you swallow too much, you'll be puckered for a while 5. Burping. This can be achieved by drinking soda or just making yourself burp. You can also eat a lot, so that your digestive system will eventually make you burp. 6. You can wait for the hiccups to stop. Not highly recommended, because you'll have to suffer it for quite a while. Some people have hiccups for years. It's possible.
Take a deep breath. Hold it for few seconds, and tray simultaneously to move your stomach as if you do a press - ups. Repeat few times and the hiccups should stop. Also is very important to calm your self. In my case the combination of both works the best. Also see a Physician if the hiccups are persistent, you might need a special program adjusted for your needs.
I have the best way to get rid of hiccups u need two people u will have to have 1 full glass of water u will say before first sip ''what is the medicine of hiccups?''slowly and he will have to say immediately three sips of water then u will have ur first sip AGAIN AFTER FIRST SIP U WILL SAY SAME AND THE 2ND PERSON AS WELL AND U WILL have 2nd sip then after second u will do the same and after that u will see ur hiccups r gone
When I have hiccups it really hurts my chest, and what really helps me is mixing salt and a little honey with cold water and gurgling it every 5 minutes. When you are not using it keep it in the fridge to stay cool and mix it every time before you use it again!
Peanut butter: one teaspoon, swallow it quick, without chewing. Use creamy because if you use crunchy you will have to chew it and it will lose the effect of opening the glottis. It is the sticky substance of the peanut butter that causes suction and stops the diaphragm from spasms caused by hiccups.
sip very small sips of water and don't inhale any breaths (only exhale). do this for as long as you can before you need to breathe again. same thing as holding your breath but better. works for me every time.
Very slowly drink a large glass of room temperature water while not exhaling (or talking if they are drunk). It have had several people try this and it has always worked. The water has to be room temperature.
