Why do cats have whiskers
I looked this up on Wikipedia just last week. Because I have a friend who had a kitten born with abnormally short whiskers. Wiki says that whiskers help a cat locate its prey when the prey is too close to the kitten's mouth to be seen. Who knew?
That's how God created them
They have them so they can mesure the langth of something before the go through it
They help with balance & navigation! If you cut a cats whiskers, they'll fall over! I know because my daughters step brother did it years ago!
