I am a healthy 26 year old female and have noticed painless, unseen lumps on both my shins. Does anyone know what could cause this?

Ask a doctor and it could be from a sport maybe soccer

Soccer, yes. Shin guards only protect from direct hits. You still take the brunt of it. I'm thinking it's got something to with scars and such. Thanks!
P.S. If I was able to ask a doctor, don't you think I would before asking ask.com? Like most, I've no health insurance. Also, I work full time and am not offered benefits. So don't waste my time with the obvious. Thanks:)

Not sure but it might be best if you saw a doctor

No insurance. Why else would I be asking Ask.com? If I was privileged enough to just "ask the doctor", don't you think I'd do so?

Could possibly be some type of tumor, I would go see a doctor just in case. (I hope it's not a tumor though!!!!)

I dont know what they are but i also have them...i dont think they are harmfull in any way. Most likely its calcium build up on the shin bone. If you find out for sure let me know :) its not gout or an infection...i have had mine for years.

It's quite possibly a lipoma which is a benign fatty mass. I
Have one and you can only see it when I squat a certain way. Have it checked out though.

What I'm saying is there is probably a better way to say that. You should try working on your wording before answering someone's question. A better way to have put that would have been, "It could possibly be cancerous. You should have it checked out.". Cancer is a serious illness that takes millions of life's every year. Those who have been family to those millions could take your answer as quite offensive.
