healthy granola bar, greek yogurt with berries, apple slices, cheese, etc. Hope this helps! Also, you may not like bananas but they are the best thing, maybe you can blend it with other fruit into a protein smoothie.
for breakfast eat fruit like strawberries or kiwi for lunch eat crackers sliced cheese and olives for dinner eat a soup and salad and drink alot of water and ice gives the impression of food but has no calories
A Caesar salad
muscle milk or nutrients found in muscle milk

The best and perfect diet to have after working out is a jug of milk, boiled eggs and fruits. This will be the most perfect diet. But apart from that, you can always have anything which is not too oily.
try not to eat alot it will make you gain weight after a workout so fruits or a health sandwhich will be best
fruit salad and chocolate milk.......... well chocolate isn't exactly healthy but still...
anything with protein
a banana. protein. drink loads of water, too.
you should eat a banana and also you can eat some cereals and eat some meat like fish or chicken steak that's the most healthy meat.
well a complete understanding is eat a sandwich and drink it down with a milk or you can eat and 2 apples for lunch & drink v 8 juice thats healthy
....
pasta/ meat
One whole orange or a banana or an apple. The carbohydrate (fructose) will replenish living nutrients lost and directly tap fat stores for release. Remember; we are living beings so try to replenish with living nutrients from live food. All live food is alkaline and anti-cancer. All (though delicious) cooked food is acidic and cancer brewing. Think of cooked foods as eating something dead. Also, you didn't ask but try to eat some fermented food each day like cocoanut yogurt or almond yogurt or sauerkraut or Kim-chi. Good eating! Live, live live!!!
Also, for the "heavy appetite" stop eating things that make your blood sugar spike then crash like ANYTHING with white sugar, white flour even white rice. Go for protein like nut butter w no sugar added (i.e. don't go for the Skippy as it has added sugar) also dark chocolate w 70% (and above), chocolate to snack on a few times a day will give you the serotonin boost you crave and get the chocolate with dried cane sugar it's not bleached like white sugar (scary, right? bleach!!) You are in the drivers seat as the consumer, always remember that!!! Big Lots has inexpensive and high quality chocolate, shocking but true :)
A protein and a carb...If I'm going for a light feeling snack, I like to have fat free plain greek yogurt with berries (blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, etc) or a protein shake made with water but with a banana added. If you can't stomach dairy products after a workout or in general, there are vegan protein powders out there - the taste takes some getting use to.
For combatting the heavy appetite, I would eat slower digesting proteins. So avoid the protein powders as much as possible and eat as much real food as you can. So eat more lean cuts of meat and eat fibrous veggies (think of eating a variety of colours) to help fill you up. Protein is your best friend for muscle recovery and vegetables are packed with nutrients without the calorie load or glycemic index spike. Also, I find that if I eat smaller meals every 2-3 hours, I can keep myself from trying to eat everything in the house. After heavy leg days, I'm pretty sure I can eat a small cow and still be hungry...so I know the feeling! I hope this helps :)
JACK IN THE BOX< just kidding cold wather and high protein
protien bar
PEANUTS! They are good and filling, loaded with protein! :)
protien to rebuild and rerpair ripped muscles. And a good amino acid complex.
At your local health food store!! STAY AWAY FROM MILK!!! WWW.NOTMILK.COM
mac donald's
Protein. Stay away from sugar!
A Chicken salad, that is what i do after.
Anything with a lot of protein is good but not too many calories cuz you don't want to earn more weight back.
A good thing after a work is a small meal like a shake or smoothie or fruits and vegetable. A peanut Butter and banana sandwich is real good, Also nuts and granola also greek yogurt is good. Just remember when your eating to portion control just because it's a salad doesnt mean you wont calories.
hearty soup = nutrient-rich, but not "heavy" like pasta or stews. As for appetite = I hear you!! "Graze" on pre-packaged (by you, I mean) healthy mini-meals - six of these as opposed to traditional three big meals helped me shed and keep off over 90 lbs. I wish you the VERY best. Keep up the exercise. Be well!!
have a whey recovery shake they sell whey powder at wal mart for around 15.00 for a large tub it comes in chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, and peanut butter and chocolate which is my fav ! stay motivated !!! :)
well my uncle told me to drink or eat something with protein after working out to keep the muscle strong, but if you want something to decrease to your need for food, drink protein shakes :3
p.s. dont eat nothing for 30 minutes after working out
Isotonic Drinks or Energy Bar like Mar or Snickers
pocari sweat (which you may not know)
Just eat and apple or banana, if you have a yogurt then that's good as well, Don't eat granola it's actually not good for you it's a healthy junk food but none the less a junk food, it is full of sugars and fats which get absorbed into your body very fast and if you don't work out after eating it then you'll end up getting nowhere because you will just gain what you lost, hope this helps
A combination of protein and carbs like a ham and cheese sandwich and a bottle of water. If you're still hungry have a piece of fruit. The protein is very important, because it stays with you longer and keeps hunger from coming back for longer periods of time. Make sure the bread is a healthy one. I eat the bread, "Healthy Life" brand which can be found in most supermarkets. Make sure to have some protein at each meal, and with each snack. Your body will love you for it :-)
Fruits are best to eat after workouts like banana, apple . You also drink milk with honey which is healthy to stay fit, use low carb food . For more details visit http://www.fastestwayloseweight.com/healthy-eating-and-diet.html
My doctor told me that the best thing to eat after a workout was natural protein in chicken, fish, meat. Helps your muscles recover because your body is craving protein for up to 30 mins prior to workout. Source: http://integrisok.com/
The best thing to eat after workout is anything not too oily or fatty. Instructors advice boiled eggs though.
try to eat protein rich food such as banana, milk, fresh fruit juice, apple etc.
anything nutritious such as fruits and vegetables are best. if you are really hungry try protein bars because they are filling
MusclePharm Shred Matrix, 120 Capsules should help with the cravings of hunger after a workout. then i would drink after every workout MusclePharm Glutamine, 300 Grams. this is some of the stuff i use as a mma fighter and during and after every fight and every workout. that's not all, but it will help
After a good workout, eat a whole avocado ! An avocado will reduce the cravings and will give you good fat, proteins and Omega 3s.
