Can someone help me find book?

In the 8th grade my classmates and I were separated into groups and read a book. My group had to read this book about a girl who moved to Ireland. There was the fight between the people on one side of a river and the people on the other side of the river. I think the title of the book was that name of the river or had the word river in it, but I can't seem to remember, but that book was really good and I wanted to recommend it to my little sister. She loves to read. If anyone can help me, I'd really appreciate it.

The best way to find the book is to check in a book store and explain to them about the content of the book and see if they can help. You can also walk into any library within your area and get help in finding the book through the help of the librarians.

Can you contact the teacher who assigned the book? Frequently the school district has email accounts sp you can contact teacher.
