If your girl friend buys you a motorcycle and you guys break up do you have to give it back

In my book a gift is a gift. You don't give someone something and say but I get it back if "x" happens. However, if she is demanding that you give it back, just give it to her and be mature about it.

If it is a gift and it is registered to you, then you don't if it's under her name then you may have to give it back.

morally they should give it back? you might want to re-think that one. does that mean every gift during a relationship should be given back to each other? and what if the bike was given 5 years ago ... still give it back? the basic premise in our society is that "a gift is a gift"; meaning once given, then you have no say in what someone does with it.

No it's a gift. This is a great reason not to but your significant other a vehicle of any sorts until you are married, and even then know you are sold before making a big purchase like that

Depends on the name on the title. If its in her name, yes legally he has to give it back without damage. Otherwise she can sue. Now if she put it in his name, then he can legally keep it.

Sure, unless it's in your name or you come to an agreement about your keeping it, like you pay it off so her name isn't on the loan. If it is very early in the relationship, give it back.
