What should I do?

this is kind of embarrassing..I'm a brunette female and I was wondering if I should shave my whole groin or trim? I'm a teenage swimmer so it's embarrassing if I don't do anything, please give me any advice. thank you.

Do whatever you are comfortable with. If trimming is enough, just do that. However if it's not enough, then heck with it all. Shave it off.

aerodynamic pertains to "air". Secondly, if the area is covered with a fabric that contours (I don't believe she'll be swimming naked) to her body, there will be no increased drag in the water, the same as when a swimming cap is worn.

You'll be more hydrodynamic if you shave it all off... And I prefer it.

Anything that keeps it "contained". Shaving it all will not reduce drag in the water (unless the hair lifts the swimsuit fabric significantly away from your body), but may look better, depending on how your swim gear fits you.

Shave. It will grow back whether or not you like the look.
