What would cause a 17 year old man to have a blood pressure reading of 170/100 ?

I don't feel stressed so I don't really know what would cause it . My mom thinks it could be because of a heart murmur I have ? Or weightlifting ? I hope I don't have any severe risks . Please Enlighten me , Thank You(:

Could be a genetic anomaly, diet, or any number of things - especially at age 17. Presuming you took a sports physical for school and discovered this, I am surprised the doctor at the time did not try to address this. It is way too high, especially if you are participating in something like weightlifting.
