Hi. Can someone, please, tell me why my Local Disk capacity keeps decreasing? Although I uninstall some programs, it doesn't increase. THX!

The total size is 74.4 GB(Windows xp sp2)

The reason why your local disk capacity keeps decreasing could be that they were downloading automatically temporary files, as the size of cache is allowed to store more when you visit the internet. The best thing to do is to run an antivirus like Glary Utilities, which clear any bugs in the computer.

Virus or other malware? Maybe it's overheating and losing some connections? I had that happen to a USB drive, and it just kept draining until it started deleting stuff and eventually lost all memory.... Termites? Good luck.

Did you do a disc clean and then a defrag? If it is malware down load the free version of lava soft
www.lavasoft.com. And do a full scan
