How would they know where they will end up. The believers think they know where they will spend their eternity. What if you thought you were going to hell, your mind would assume that is where you will be after your death. You will know once you die, if your brain or "soul" functions how you believe it should. Lets say you thought you will live in your own world after you died, your mind might trick you into thinking you are there when you are dying. How would you really know? Religion is about Faith not facts, so it can be a series of lies that people believe. How would you really know you are worshiping the right person or thing, people have different opinions. Some pray to God... others pray to Dog....... Think about it . People become religious or believe in religion because they want to know what will happen to them, They want answers, but get a book of lies instead.
I care too!! Some people just want to do whatever they feel like whenever they feel like it.... to them it's about living in the moment and hating people like us who have a religion and know whats going to happen to us.
Because sinning is fun for a season and they want to fulfill their sinful desires and keep putting off salvation, I believe is the case for some people. Some people have been disappointed in people and in people who profress to be christians and have become close-minded to the things of God because their eyes were on people instead of looking up to God for themselves. I think these are just some of the reasons.
Because people doesn't have any confidence in an enterprise that pays dividend only after the death of its stakeholders. Because people do understand that if the Bible is mistaken in telling us where we came from, they can't trust it to tell us where we are going! Because people deny to to give up the substance of this life, for the obscure shadow of an eternal life! And people cannot see why they should expect an infinite God to do better in an infinite world, than what he does in this finite world!
