Why am I so passive?

I'm not trying to, but my friends always tell me that I say sorry WAY too much and that I need to take a chill pill sometimes...

You just probably don't like confrontation and maybe are around a lot of sensitive people so you feel like you always have to walk on eggshells with them. Not a bad thing to be non confrontational. Just stand up for yourself when someone is totally wrong towards you though.
