because she is your first . but you shouldn't feel that way. instead you should be impressed how she cares about you. time doesn't matter. don't forget to thank her and make her happy :)

We are used to giving a gift when we get one. you need to learn to accept gifts gracefully, and realize that you will get to return the favor on her birthday. she felt good giving it to you. tell her thanks and you will both feel good.
