Why are flies so stupid?

There's 3 in my car and I keep luring them to my wide open window but they just fly back in and continue to fly into my windshield so I open BOTH doors and the same thing happens then I got mad and put this on ask :)

Their compound eyes make it nearly impossible for them to read instruction manuals. If they do master it they'll be all set both Spanish Flys and regular American House Flys.
(instruction manuals in both Spanish and English). There's a joke somewhere here I'm not finished working on it yet

Flies tend to fly towards the light. If the light coming through the windshield is brighter than the light from the sides, they will probably head there instead of the way that takes them to freedom.

Flies are basically animated vegetables. They act solely on a stimulus response basis. Not whether or not a door is open. But yes the ----ing thing should die for it!
