Is this bad

is it bad to sometimes only get like 3 or 4 hours of sleep.. well a lot of the time

That question is hard to answer since the amount of sleep you need is a very individual thing. But this is some things you can expect.

problems with concentrating and staying focused. Your mind will tend to drift and you'll have to make an effort to stay on target

Mood swings, bad temper, irritability, a short fuse to name a few. When you are tired you are less patient and less willing to let little things pass

You will put on weight. Bad sleep habits leads to bad eating habits. You will need sugar and quick carbohydrates to stay on top of things, You will tend to select fast food and quick snacks

You will have problems with remembering and learning stuff. Reading will be difficult, writing will be difficult. Passing tests and exams will be hard and you will score lower than you might

So get enough sleep already ;)

If you do this everyday, yes. You should be getting more sleep depending on your age!

Yes, the human body need 8 hours of sleep. You need to get some sleep. Any reasons on why you cant?

Yeah if you continue to not get sleep then down the road it will be bad and might increase health risks

Yes ! you should get 6 to 7 hours of rest and sleep ! otherwise you will have many problems and one of them is the headache !

Just so every one knows I don't get much sleep but nothing really happens I'm very active and hyper getting more sleep actually makes me sleepy not getting less sleep

it depends !!! sometimes when I get a lot's of sleep ya it makes me tired and wanna continue sleeping ! but sometimes it makes me really tired and i suffer from headache !

I wouldn't say it's bad but it's not good. Take it from someone who works nights and sleeps four hours a day. I am healthy as can be. I lift weights, jog, and hang out with friends. The only side effects I've had are sleepiness but that should be expected.
