You didn't say why and I am hoping you gave this some thought.
Sit him down in a public place (safety, first) and explain to him what you're feeling. Give back the ring and anything of his you might have. Time to be calm and adult.

I do not agree sorry!! I am a man and if there was ever a thought in ur mind or clues that he is violent u shouldn't have said yes in the first place!! Please don't humiliate him in public!! That's low and could just make things worse!! That's just my opinion

Didn't say humiliate him. Said a public place cause it will force both of them to act as adults rather than scream, cry or act a fool.
I agree she shouldn't have said yes but she did and better for both of them to end it now.

Yes def end it now don't kid urself and drag it along!! I also understand the screaming and stuff!! I just would pick and choose the public place wisely like someplace other than a resturaunt or quiet place! Go to a ball game or a little more noisy place!

Just be honest with him and tell him how you care about him but you do not feel in love with him. You should do this in person and not through a text message or email. Also be sensitive to his feelings and make sure he has support either from friends or relatives. You can also be friends with him as he gets some time to recover.

I don't think that you should humiliate him in public!! If you care at all do it privately! yes even men have feelings too! By doing it in public he thinks your think he' crazy and that's not what you want! You obviously loved him at one point and you need to remember that! Just let him down easy tell him how you feel and let him know that if there is doubt it is better to fi it now then while already married or worse have kids!!

your just need to tell him its not working out. Make sure he is not at your house or you are at his house.

Breaking up is never easy. Stay calm. Try to explain what isn't working for you rather than what's wrong with him.
