A reasonable settlement would include the amount of any lost wages, the cost of any treatment including prescriptions and mileage to and from doctors' visits, the cost of paying someone to do things which you normally do but are now unable to do (walking dogs, household chores, etc.) and a certain amount for pain and suffering. Only you can say how much you have suffered, so that amount is subjective. When asking for a settlement, it is best to have a detailed accounting of how much you expect and why... that way they know that you mean business and aren't just tossing out a number.

An average amount you can get will range from $$200,000 to about $340,000. However, the amount will vary with many things like the amount you spent, lost wages among others. Talk to a lawyer for more advice.

You need an attorney. You have a shoulder injury which is fairly common, especially among tennis players. The attorney needs to look at your medical records and the extent of your disability. It's not up to you at all. Get a lawyer.
