The type of bird you own will help determine this. I will give you a few & a link. Number of stripes on your parakeet's head or the numbers on the leg band. Cockatiel would be pink on the feet and beak at birth and turn darker as they age. There is no way to determine the accurate age of a bird as there are various factors that must be considers for instance the breed. However, you can check the lifespan of the species and then estimate the age from the condition of the feathers, beak and feet.
