How can you keep from clenching your jaw during the day?

I do not grind my teeth at night but I catch myself clenching my jaw and or my mouth during the day. It's probably due to stress, but what are some good ways to keep from doing this? I started doing this a couple months ago.

I find myself doing the same thing throughout the day. I started placing my tongue between one set of my molars, that way if I started to clench to hard my jaw would relax and I wouldn't bite my tongue. It's a trick that has worked for the past few years and I hope it works for you!

Good idea. When I catch myself doing it I try to open my lips to relax my whole mouth.
