Which is newer the Vantec NexStar TX Model NST-210S2-BK or NexStar 3? or which is more likely to work with SSD?

Both Vantec NexStar TX Model NST-210S2-BK and NexStar 3 are manufactured in the same year. They both provide excellent performance when it comes to compatibility and data protection. However, they are both external hard drives and as such do not use the SSD. The SSDs are only used on motherboard as memory modules for the computer.
