Just had my wisdom tooth pulled. I'm completely numb, will I start to feel really bad pain soon after?

When I had my tooth pulled, I felt some pain, but nothing ibuprofen couldn't handle. You will get a blood clot where the tooth was. Whatever you do, try not to bust the clot. It will feel squishy and weird. If you bust the clot you will get dry socket and that is VERY painful. My gum healed within one to two weeks. So, other than a little soreness, you shouldn't be in too much pain. You will probably feel better since your teeth now have more room.

The pain will be tolerable unless you get a dry socket. If you do call dentist for pain pills and he will pack your socket. You will be back to normal within a week.

Just take a painkiller and eat soft foods. There is no guarantee the pain will be completely gone but it will definitely lessen the pain. Get better soon!
