Swallowed my tongue bar. What can I put in it until I can get a new one?

I have a tongue piercing and I accidentally swallowed my barbell. (Second time doing this but the first time I already had a barbell that I could out in right after.) What can I put in it to keep it from closing up and until I get a new one?

I had the same problem with my nose stud, but I didn't swallow it, I lost it while I was sleeping so I decided to put 2 ear piercings in my nose to keep it from healing up, since I only had it pierced to 4 days. If you had your tongue pierced for more then 10 weeks, then it wont heal close that fast.

True. I've had it for a year but I don't like how it feels without it.
