total amount : 56\$

she bought 5 books (35\$)
she got free 1 books (free)

21\$ remains

so she bought 3 books more (7 x 3)

so, she gets 9 books.

well to solve this you first have to figure out how many times 7 goes into 56 which equals 8. 8 is the total amount of books she bought using money so if every five books she buys she get a free one you have to figure out how many times five goes into eight which is pretty easy. seeing that five goes into eight one time mean the Sarah get one free book for a total of nine books. please do your homework next time
