It means you're fit! It's like he was trying to compliment you, but weirdly... tip guys: you look pretty or you're beautiful usually goes over better.

Buff just mean that your in shape.... Normally when I tell a girl shes buff I'm talking about her shoulder and back.... You might have a wide back with big (muscular) shoulders..... I hope that don't sound bad
