Math homework. So confused!!!

1) A power and an exponent are the same. We might "say 5 to third power," or we might say or "5 with an exponent of 3."
2). A product is the answer to a multiplication problem.
Examples:
a)4 to the 3rd power = 4x4x4 = 64
4 x 3 = 12
b)5 to the 2nd power = 5x5 = 25
5 x 2 = 10

The product is an answer to a multiplication problem. And actually a power and an exponent are the same thing.

Power and Exponent have the same meaning, which is that they are placed to the right and above another number. The different between a power and a product is that the power is placed at the right top, and a product means the results of multiplying.
