How do you put a stationary door knob back on?

My closet has double doors and, recently, I accidentally pulled off one of the knobs. It is a stationary knob because the door just pulls open but I can't see any possible way to put it back on. The place where a usual door knob has screws showing is just a cover plate which you have to pull back to reveal the heads of the screws but it doesn't allow any space for a traditional screwdriver to work. How would I screw it back on with this in the way?

If the space to reveal the heads of the screws is the problem, then you have to get a smaller screwdriver. This will give you space to screw it back, if the traditional screwdriver doesn't work. However, you can contact a carpenter to come over and do that for you at a fee.

What I had to do was push on a pin to separate the knob and the base before attempting anything but I didn't see it until a few minutes after posting this. Mini screwdrivers and personal carpenters were unnecessary this time. Luckily.
