“There, peeping among the cloud-wrack above a dark tower high up in the mountains, Sam saw a white star twinkle for a while. The beauty of it smote his heart, as he looked up out of the forsaken land, and hope returned to him. For like a shaft, clear and cold, the thought pierced him that in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach.” -J. R. R. Tolkien, The Return of the King

To me, “FEARLESS” is not the absence of fear. It’s not being completely unafraid. To me, FEARLESS is having fears. FEARLESS is having doubts. Lots of them. To me, FEARLESS is living in spite of those things that scare you to death - Taylor Swift
You may only be someone in the world, but to someone else, you may be the world - Unknown.
What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us - Ralph Waldo Emerson.
We must become the change we want to see - Mahatma Gandhi.
Where there is a will, there is a way -Pauline Kael.
In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity - Albert Einstein.
Another I like is from the television series 'Dexter' - Lumen said I gave her, her life back... a reversal of my usual role. Well the fact is, she gave me mine back too. And I'm left, not with what she took from me, but with what she brought. Eyes that saw me, finally, for who I really am. And a certainty that nothing... nothing is set in stone. Not even darkness. While she was here, she made me think for the briefest moment I might even have a chance to be human. But wishes, of course, are for children.
"We must be the change we wish to see in the world." --Ghandi
