Should I brush my teeth then floss, or floss first then brush my teeth?

I got my braces off yesterday and started brushing my teeth first then flossing. But when i floss my gums bleed as ya know they would do when i have started flossing. The blood sometimes sort of stains my teeth a little (it does come off a bit). Is it better to brush then floss or floss first then brush?

Actually it's best to floss before brushing because the floss removes particles of food between the teeth that can be brushed away.

I always brush then floss...I still have my braces on, so it's difficult to floss w/o the stuff getting stuck

Its best to floss first then brush. More maintenance may help lessen the bleeding.
