I'm not sure, only people close to me say that and usually smiling when they do. If it is used in a manner to control you, that is very bad and there is really no good come back. I suggest you explain to the person that; speaking that way to another person is an act of violence and you don't tolerate communications of that sort. So tell them not to speak to you.
There are two comebacks I use. 1. DREAM ON. (with most menacing, come-at-me-fool stare you can manage) and 2. Whatever they are holding in their hand, point to it and say, "That's no (insert what is in hand), that's my daughter!" and walk away.
