What is a good pet to keep you company

coming up, my sister will be going to college, and I am getting surgery for my scoliosis, so I won't be able to do anything physical with my friends for awhile, then I have to get another one, so even longer. my parents work full time, so try agreed to get me a pet to accompany me, cause I will be VERY lonely, what is a good pet to get p.s. I am VERY responsible p.p.s no dogs, my dad hates them :/

Guinea pigs are adorable, friendly, and fluffy companions. They remind me of a miniature dog. They make cute squeaky noises too. Guinea pigs are also easy to care for.

Maybe a hamster or guinea pig or something along those lines. If you handle them often and get them used to you they can be very friendly and affectionate.

you should get a kitten because when they are young, they are sooooo cute and playful and you can never get tired of them :) they usually live nice, long lives :)

But a freaking fox would be awesome. In some places you can own a pet fox. That would be so cute and I heard they are awesome company

Cat are cuddly and sweet. They will sit down and cuddle whenever you call them, and will make fine pets to talk to. Birds are good too, for they are easy to talk to and fun to play with. Both of these pets are easy to take care of and cheap.
TIP: Remember all pets may be good for you, but can be hard to take care of and expensive. For example, while horses are great company, they can cost more than your house! Fish are cheap and pretty, but can be boring and not very cuddly!
