well, it is possible. did anyone die in the house a long time ago? because the spirit may be angry because you are there. or the spirit is just mad because someone is still there that isnt suppose to be there.

It could just be a raccoon, or a possum, or even bats. Call an exterminator. If the exterminator never comes back... call the ghost hunters.
I've had the same experiences, maybe worse though. Footsteps happen in my house so often I just ignore them. Though several times, one of the dishes falls out and crashes in the floor, and they were not standing upright. I freaked out but then I just learned to live with them. It was more active a while ago but now it's just crack here, small whispering there. Even my dog notices ghosts and he barks randomly while looking down the hallway. If you think you have ghosts, have an EVP session with them or turn the lights off and go to the room you think is most active and (if you want, bring a friend) and just listen but try to put in some words so you could get some reaction. Also, try taking pictures outside next to your house to see if you have orbs (energy left behind from the deceased). Hope this helped:)
