How to burn fat, and gain muscle ?
Exercise/work out more. Eat fruits and vegetables. Lay low on the soda or juice, drink more water. Lift weights/dumbbells. And don't forget the proteins.

Working out with slightly less intensity but for a longer period of time should help burn fat, and to gain muscle, do your muscular excercises, then eat/ drink a lot of protein
You could try cardio workouts then do whatever desired muscle exercise
