1100 cases of West Nile disease in the U.S. - 41 deaths and at least 38 states have reported cases -- Are you concerned ?

Report as

No. I'm more concerned about distracted drivers.
You can always get a mosquito net if you think that will work. To be honest millions have died because of the ban on DDT which would have wiped out the threat of mosquito born illnesses. But hey,we saved the Eagles. Humans - not so much.

You are Wrong! West Nile can happen to Anyone! Young or Old!

The chances of getting it,or at least getting very ill and dying are slim at best.

That's a myth. We had a very healthy 41 yr old woman die here last week with no other illnesses. They actually exposed the whole child/elderly thing for the bull it is.

True - to lessen the scare .

Yep. Stay away from mosquitos - the two week a asymptomatic incubation period is scary - watch for those migraine like headaches.

A little, but not really. (Haven't gotten sick yet, and we have practically swarms of mosquitos around where we live.)

Not really. Do not worry about those things that you cannot control. As is, I don't put myself in a position of great leagues of mosquitoes... I'm not in bad health... I've not had any symptoms of being sick. I don't have anything to worry about I don't believe.

I saw today where a horse died from it so our pets might be at risk. Being that I work outside all day and get bit several times per day I am somewhat concerned
