I really like this guy but I can't date till I'm 16 how do I keep him interested but at a safe distance?

we text in a sort of innocent way. For ex. we talk about sports and school and stuff. what do I do now?

You can't just still be his friend men are indecisive creatures they usually don't know what they wanna do until their like 50 years old even then unless he owns the playboy manchin then theirs no chance it would be just u anyways they only way they will wait for you if they have a great moral upbringing but even then so what I'm really trying to say is don't wait up

Just tell him the truth about the rules you have for dating. If he is interested now, even if you stop talking and spark up that conversation later, he isn't going to just forget you.

I would say let him go, your going to meet a million more. Just as interesting, maybe even better guy. If your not 16 yet then you are young and you get to experience all the bs we adults have gone through

Invite him to your home to watch a movie or something with parents present in home.

Words of encouragement. My cousins now fianc? was not allowed to date until she was 18. Cousin waited almost 3 years to take her out. Now they are getting married next year. It is possible, and very worth it if he is the one. Not all men are jerks.
