My dad found a phone lying on the street. He tried every obvious way to contact the owner, but nothing is working. Any ideas?

Try calling the phone carrier. The phone should have a logo on it. If they won't give you a name or address, ask if you can mail it to them to return it to their customer.

Treat it like any other valuable lost property. Turn it in at the local Police headquarters, or call the PD and ask them to send someone to pick it up.

My sister lost her Verizon phone and the person who found it took it to the Verizon store in the area. The store called us and she went and got it :)

I'd text the person he/she texts or call the most and say hey ur friend lost their phone and trying to get ahold of them and hopefully they get in touch with them and contact u back

Do what you would never do to your phone put it in the blender or mircowave or take it apart to see what's in side.

Well try to call someone in his contacts that sounds like they can contact him or her maybe like "work" or "home" or any thing like that
