Just tell her. It's been 8 years! U should be comfortable enough with each other to tell each other the truth. If u love her u will be honest. She might be sad to know that after all these years of feeding u she wasn't making u happy. In this case, it's not just the thought that counts. It matters if her cooking is good enough to eat. I know u love her but be straight up. It might hurt her but it will help u guys's relationship in the long run. Next time be more up front. It'll help lessen the blow. Hope this helps.

Tell her that you have a great idea, get more cooking skills, get lessons and that you want to spend some time doing something else for a change. don't say anything else

Suggest lessons together. Just for fun and something to do together. Tell her you can both expand your menus and knowledge.

Why would you wait so long to tell her??? I mean if you said something early on she most likely have taken it fairly well but waiting this long? What's she supposed to do with that.

She must be really something if you have put with eight years of bad food. Congratulations! If you can cook, share some of your skilks with her with a "today, let's di somerhing romantuc together ... I'll cook, but U want your company in the kitchen, let's chat ... and you describe the steps of what yoy are doing, why yoy like it, and why she'll love it. Don't be surprised if she lukes your cooking as much as you like hers. Taste buds are different from person to person.

You could try turning on a cooking tv show and you want to try some new things for dinner then point out cooking facts of the show then play dumb lol say something like I didn't know that did you or you can sit her down and be honest offer to learn with her don't make it just only about her and it should reduce the blow and lets face it who of us don't need to learn to cook better

Sorry there's no easy way to tell her now.it's too late.you should have told her from the beginning. Now you just have to say it straight out.rip that Band aid off, finally.

Suck it up, be a man and eat that chow, if she can eat it, so can you. If she doesn't know the basics, help her out, but don't dare tell her she is a bad cook. Try to make dinner together. Help, don't criticize.

You could go online and dig up some recipes that interest you and approach her with a whole new way of looking at cooking by sharing the science of it. Bon Appetite, Martha for instance have alot of tips for how to do things along with dynomite recipes!
