Is oxycodone,90 mg and percocet,90 mg the same thing

My doctor prescribes oxycodone 90mg for injury to my spine received from an auto accident. In court the opposing lawyer argued that oxycodone 90mg was the same drug as percocet 90mg. Is that correct?

From what I know, Oxycodone and Percocet are only similar in the work they do in relieving pain. However, they have one difference which is Percocet that contains acetaminophen while oxycodone doesn't.

One is the generic & one is the name brand! Basically the same thing!
