Middle schoolers stick to their own grades. No mingling between grades. But, if you want to, fine. I'm just saying that you should expect this. Also, if your're a girl, you will get looks. Don't take it personally. Girls in middle school can be very harsh on anything. Do your homework and focus in class. You will most likely get detentions for not doing your homework. Also, start as soon as you can in pushing yourself academically. Middle school is when you can get ahead by taking honors math classes. When you get in high school, it gets very difficult to take higher classes. I took honors algebra (for high school credit) and I failed and I had to retake it. If I passed, I could've gotten into an AP class for my senior year. APs are so important! Start early. Beware of drama. Make friends ASAP and you will learn who your real friends are.
They were the best years of my life. I just graduated 8th grade, and I was crying my eyes out all night! My advice is, don't worry about what people think of you. I admit that I'm nerdy, and weird, and just crazy, but I'm proud. Middle school is where the kids can get mean, and start rumors. Just stay true to yourself and don't let anybody tell you that you can't be exactly who you are and who you want to be. If your popular, don't be mean to kids. Seriously, it hurts. Being bullied is something that kids never forget their whole lives. But, if your not popular, just, try not to get involved with the other kids too much. You never know who is truly your friend and who is just out to get you. If you play your cards right, and get involved with the right group of people, you'll be absolutely fine, and you'll look back at these year as the best of your life. Do good in school! It gets tricky, but study! And DON'T DO DRUGS! Be good!
