Do Amazon parrots need gravel?

I keep gravel in the cage for my cockatiels, but I haven't read anything about amazons

Parrots or any bird can do well without gravel or grit in their diet. You should note that some birds might have problems if grit is over eaten. So in this case, I would suggest you don't provide plenty of gravel if need be, to your parrots.

You are correct on the cockatiels, they do need the gravel and grit.

Well I have a bird and you should not give anything big or has salt
